“I think what the disciples saw, is if Jesus can change the elemental nature of water, maybe, just maybe, he can change my elemental nature.

My elemental nature to be frightened and angry; my elemental nature to want revenge on those who disagree with me; my elemental nature to get my own way, to hoard what I want.

If Jesus could change water into wine, maybe, just maybe, he might even be able to change me…

…I have hope that the one that could transform water into wine, and could transform my friend from a hard human being into a soft one–can also do that for us.”
