Snowshoe Hike – Wed. Feb. 1

When? Wednesday, February 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.—includes driving time. Must RSVP (see below).

What? Beat the weekend crowds and join us for a mid-week wilderness outing! Grab your snowshoes (or rent a pair for $15 at Get ‘N Gear) and ski/hiking poles for a 4-mile round trip hike to the Brown Mt. Shelter. This section of the Pacific Crest Trail is stunning and fairly flat. Hike is approx. 2 hours total with a stop at the shelter for lunch.

Meet Where? Meet @ the church to carpool/caravan for the approx. 1 hr. drive to the Pederson Sno Park at Mile 27 on Dead Indian Memorial Road. Sno-Park sticker required ($25 at Bi-Mart for season).

Bring What? Bring water, bag lunch to carry in day pack. No dogs, please.
