Blessing of the Animals – Sun., Oct. 8
When? Sunday, October 8 at 4:00 p.m. (Pacific)
What? We will offer a “Blessing of the Animals” service in the Green Space on the Church Campus. This is a celebration of animal life in all its forms and a witness to God’s love, care, and concern for all of creation.
This tradition is inspired by St. Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals and the environment. On this day, we invite members and friends to bring their animal companions or photos of them to the service, where they will receive individual blessings.
Where? Outdoors in the green space area behind the church.
