12/21/23: Home for Christmas
I have been missing from my people here at UCC Ashland whilst Al and I went first to Utah to bury his younger brother, then to Delaware to Celebrate his noted life. We had a rich time with Al’s family AND with his university colleagues AND with his wife and son. We are back home having missed the Christmas Pageant, Christmas cheer, and decorations, but the richer for the deep sharing with family.
Our Christmas will be abbreviated this year, though we are so looking forward to a few small get-togethers with friends and family. I do hope that whatever plans you have are filled with the joy and love and hope of the newborn babe in a manger.
